Air support- (IL- 1942)
Air space territories
allows to drop supplies to cut off areas +10
allows the deployment of one airborne company in a controlled airspace
Able to transport infantry comapanies to another airbase within 7 spaces (can't run out of fuel easily since they were designed for long distance transport)
allowed to move forward up to 3 spaces in controlled air space and either A.) attack or B.) do one of related options* aboved
Aircraft must retreat to nearest airbase within 2 spaces or forward refueling point** after completing an objective
Aircraft can run out fo fuel! If so they will attempt a crash landing in the nearest area and must request retreival and brought to nearest airbase. After succesfuly retrieved aircarft need to be reshiped from across seas which take about 5 rounds.
If they crash land in a friendly occupied area then they must wait one "day" and on the next a supply convoy containing much needed fuel will be brought and allow them to go to the airspace above them if friendly or a dogfigt will ensue.
*For option b, it must be controlled and occupied,
** Can only pick up an airborne or infantry company/supplies from airbases
Supply Lines
*note: Value fo supplies both delivery and upkeep values may change.
Every company requires a certain amount of upkeep every "day" depending on situation different amoutn is needed.
Supply lines deliver +15 supplies every "day" as long as comapnies are in direct connection
Basic maintanence
Comapnies consume a certain amount of supplies every "day" depending on the company.
Infantry: -7 every day
Airborne: -5 every day
Armor: -10 every day
Battle Recuperation
If you just finished a battle you need to rearm and treat wounded soldiers/ recieve reinforcments which require an additional 10 Supplies.
After battle costs
Infantry: -17 after battle
Airborne: -15 after battle
Armor: -20 after battle
Losing/winning a battle
If you lose a battle your comapany is forced to retreat or killed if you are surrounded.
If you lose enemy recieves +5 to supplies for winning and -5 if they lost along with being repelled, Vice versa for winning.
Running out of supplies
So if your comapany is cut off and hungry and out of ammunition, wihtout supplies your comapny is demoralized and will surrender or starve to death.
If that happens, whatever space they were inhabiting is given to the enemy and the enemy recieve the area and extra men until the area is capped with maximum amoutn of companies (easy computer in battles)
Movement
If you move a ditance greater than 2 spaces you are subjected to reduced supplies than if you were stationary.
Movement supply deliveries
Infantry: +7 that "day"
Airborne: +7 that "day"
Armor: +10 that "day" (since armor moved relativly slow and could carry way more)
Attacking a supply line
